I had a very similar experience as a child, it seemed like the adults didn’t take me seriously so now sometimes it’s hard for me to initiate a conversation, as in why bother? They don’t have time, aren’t in the mood, or are busy.. I’ll try to remember your advice on preparing what you want to share with other people, it seems helpful. Thanks
