I'm very proud of you! Well done! We have to enjoy the weather and look after our health. This is one of the reason I do not blog as much as I could, so I totally agree with you :)

Thank you for your reply, Janneke. We really have to realize that it doesn't depend on how much we post per week or month, but about the quality not only of the content of what we post, but also of the life we leed when we're not online. We tend too much to rush from early in the morning until late in the evening (sometimes night) working, blogging, parenting and organizing so many things. I won't say that we risk a burnout (some may though) but we surely miss part of the "real" life because we're busy thinking about the next things to do, instead of concentrating on less tasks. I personally got somehow addicted to this writing and reading, this bloggosphere and all that's connected to it. I won't give this up, but I need a clearer structure (maybe that's the Swiss or German part in me? ;-)) and first of all: to spend more time with family and friends. – I think you still have so much traffic on your site because your posts are brilliant! They really are, and the topics are very popular. I imagine that people comment less because they think you wouldn't answer. It's a weird thing, but when I see that someone hasn't posted in several weeks, I think he or she is very busy and won't have the time to read my reply. Maybe a little reminder that you're still there and will surely read all the comments and reply would help? I don't know. I surely will leave replies on your site though. - But now let's go back to our families ;-) Tot gauw!

Yes Ute, I can relate to this too. I find it quite difficult to find the right balance, work, family, blogging (computer time) and all the other people and activities that need attention. I must say I am really glad that we are having a little more sunshine so I really do want to make the most of that too. This year I am posting about once or twice a month, I used to post 2-3 times a week, the strange thing is that I have a steady stream of pageviews even though I am posting a lot less. Very interesting! Less comments though....By the way husband complains that I am behind the computer too much.

Ha, Tatu, oh yes, we were separated by birth ;-) It's so tempting to evade the daily routines or daily struggles by diving into the internet-world, and sometimes it's the only way to really get some distraction (like when the kids are ill and you can't get out as much, you can't have a real social life etc.). But when I think about how fast the kids grow, how quickly this time flies by and that they really need us much more now than in a few years - they still will, but in another way - it's really a shame to waste this time at the computer. These are not memories I want my children to have: mum was always at the computer... ;-) Und deshalb schalte ich ihn jetzt auch wieder aus.
